4482 & 4498 Gordon Drive - revisted

Among the most preposterous projects rubber stamped by Team Dyas for his connected friends was Gordon Drive. Council voted 5-3 in June 2026 to rezone two properties at 4482 and 4498 Gordon Drive from large-lot housing (RU1) to townhouse housing (MF2) to allow a 65-unit row townhouse development.

Dozens spoke out against the development rezoning for Gordon Drive during the fixed public hearing. They were ignored.

Developer Bradley (Brad) Cronquist was gifted a change in zoning to allow 65 row townhouses. From RU1 (Large Lot Housing); designated S-RES (Suburban Residential) in the OCP to MF2 (Townhouse Housing); redesignated to S-MU (Suburban Multiple Unit). These are wood frame 3 story topped with rooftop patios. Most prominant concern is high density with a single access road feeding the already congested Gordon Drive.

The proposed driveway exits onto a sidewalk used daily by children walking to and from Dorothea Walker Elementary, Bellevue Elementary, Okanagan Mission Secondary, and the YMCA daycare. An independent time-stamped count on Friday, May 1, 2026 documented 400 vehicles in the 8:45 AM peak interval. To obscure that, the project's traffic analysis concluded 'minimal impact.' That was based on counts taken March 23–24, 2026 when students were on spring break. Schools were closed and buses weren't running. The study spewed PM peak only. Morning gridlock on Gordon Drive at the development site, looking toward the DeHart Avenue lights. Gordon Drive is an arterial road, already heavily congested at school drop-off and pick-up points. The project adds congestion and takes no measures to mitigate it.

All the Cronquists are lobbyists, and probably have a direct line to their good old buddy Tom Dyas. Both men are directly connected to and through the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce.

Most galling of the meeting was the insulting horseshit from senior Maxine DeHart. The Khalistani employee bent over backward to piss on the petition of 891 Kelowna citizens. That sums up her, Tom Dyas, and much of  Kelowna council.

Latest in the Tom Dyas 'just can't stand it' department is not posing with a ball and speaking of $25m. This observer is getting tired of Dyas in the same off colour jacket every time. Surely diamond Dyas can afford more than one tattered old jacket. If he wants to appear the old iffin bum at every public appearance, its working. Pffft.

Team Tom Dyas revisited

Khalistani Team Tom Dyas, 64, are old. Average age of the sous chef's toxic trifecta is almost 70. When politicos are this close to the old folks home they are not effected by any of the decisions they make.

Mohini Singh (Ubhi), 66. 4 term counsellor, deputy mayor. She works for Bir Singh Sandher.

Maxime DeHart, 75. 4 term counsellor. Employed by Khalistani boss Gurjit Singh Jhajj.

Rick Webber, 68. 1 term counsellor. He has voted in lockstep with Tom Dyas on every issue. He is rewarded with doggie treats from Dyas. Dyas' core buttock boys Loyal Wooldridge (2 terms) and Luke Stack (5 terms) are gone.

Habibs seek expansion of Liquid Zoo - revisit

The Habibs have big plans. They want to increase the number of drunks they can serve from 500 to 600. The next council meeting is September 22. The last attempts by the Habibs in 2023 were shot down unanimosuly.

All are opposed to the Habibs. In the last five years, cops have responded to 245 “general occurrences” in and around their Liquid Zoo on Lawrence Avenue. 63 cases of assault have been reported, and the trend has been upward this year, with 26 files associated with the Liquid Zoo, compared to 28 in all of 2025.

Surrey slumlord Amit Chopra reached out to Kelowna mayoral candidate David Habib to help remove tenants from a drug house in 2022. Habib's solution was simple, board the property up with the druggies inside. “I’ve always been as I like to say, ‘in your corner,’” said Habib. In September 2013 a truck exploded in the driveway of a home in Kelowna as the result of a bomb. The truck didn't just catch fire, it exploded in the middle of the residential neighbourhood in the middle of the night. The resulting fireball destroyed the vehicle and was labelled 'suspicious' by fire crews and the RCMP.

Dale Habib

Cops dealt with 3 bomb cases that year, including when one blew up a truck owned by David Joseph Habib. His brother Dale was president of the Kingpin Crew, a disbanded puppet club of the Hells Angels. It folded amid much bad blood in 2013 on orders of the HAMC.

Kevin Van Kalkeren bought 16 years for trafficking.

The Kingpin Crew sold dope from Habib's 'Liquid Zoo' nightclub for many, many years, including mountains of cocaine from major operator Kevin Van Kalkeren. At some point Dale Habib and the Kingpin crew lost the support of the Hells Angels. David Habib tried to sell the club and building to a numbered company. A Liquor Control Branch investigation found that one of the new owners was Hells Angel President Damiano Dipopolo. The Branch refused to transfer the liquor license and the sale was unwound. The nightclub's license was returned in late 2011 and Habib reopened on January 9, 2012 with a special anti-gang condition. 3 days later, cops did a walk through of the club and saw a known gangster/drug dealer wearing a cap with the gang’s insignia on it. Habib said that while he had heard of the Kingpin Crew and knew they were a motorcycle group, he didn't think they were a criminal gang.

The executed Donny Lyons was a member of the Kingpin Crew and was very close to VP Lester Jones. Damiano Dipopolo and Lester Jones were kicked out in bad from the HAMC for stealing club funds. They stole from the collection trying to save 3 HA clubhouses in B.C. from forfeiture. Upwards of $3m was raised and a good slice of that was stolen by the 2 garbage low bikers. Damiano Dipopolo, ex-HAMC Kelowna president, avoided all justice for 20 years as top crime boss in the city.

The Kelowna clubhouse at 837 Ellis Street was purchased by the city and was leveled on March 18, 2025. Donny Lyons was executed June 15, 2024 by Prabtaj Singh Sandher and Gurtaj Singh Sandher on orders of the Sinaloa Cartel.

Nothing describes Tom Dyas better than the reprobate begging for money. Some are beneath contempt and Tom Dyas is below that.

In 2018, Dyas' campaign manager against Basran was Garry Benson, a former Basran insider. Benson was Bir Singh Sandher's 'go to' lawyer before dying in 2022. Robert Tonsoo of Benson & Company represents the Sandhers in their property transactions to this day.

Tom Dyas drops to 21% in Kelowna mayor race - update

Ron Cannan has increased his lead in prediction markets to 55.8%. He gained 10 points in 3 days.

Dyas has lost ground sharply in prediction markets tracking the city's October 17 municipal election. After a 12 point slide in 3 days, Dyas's re-election odds fell from 32% to 21% on Kalshi and Polymarket, with the September 11 nomination deadline approaching. Both have moved in lockstep despite differing models. That 12% decline is one of the sharpest moves in any Canadian municipal race. Dyas touched as low as 19% before a slight recovery. Only 1 in 5 will be voting for Tom Dyas say gamblers. For a sitting mayor this is almost unheard of. Ron Cannan polls at 50%. Also ran Emily Salsbury tracked 4%.

Nomination papers open September 1 and close September 11. That window often reshapes municipal races as new candidates confirm entry and others drop out. If Dyas numbers don't improve, and quickly, he's in trouble. Encumbent councillors usually have an advantage with voters due to name recognition. Undecided is around 25%. Kelowna voters have smelled the Dyas stench and punters have noticed. Dyas appears to be on the road to one and out. Here.

We hit material where Tracy Gray was mentioned. One can never count out the ever ambitous Grays. B.C. Conservative leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay won the party’s leadership, and she is taking that ship right to the bottom. 6 MLAs have jumped off her bandwagon.

The Grays may be more interested in the mayor's chair and less interested in Kerry-Lynne Findlay these days.

Dodgy Kevin Kraft rolls the council bones

Kevin Kraft is of uncertain professional qualification and surely bad reputation because a reliable source fingered him as such. He's a member of the 'old boys club' in the Okanagan. If this observer were to pick one white boy politico as a prime candidate to join a new Khalistani cabal on Kelowna council, it's Kevin Kraft.

Kevin Kraft is on a losing string and is not trusted. Folks seem to have a problem voting for him.

Les Bellamy rolls the bones for council - update

Council candidate Les Bellamy is a long time resident, owner of Bellamy Homes. Bellamy is a charter member of the Tom Dyas 'Old Boys Club'. https://www.votebellamy.ca/ In August 2023, the City of Kelowna rescinded permits for 350 Doyle Ave after the City discovered that public hearing supporters were paid by Appelt Properties. They had major organized resistance in the form of 'Kelowna Legacy Group'.

Kelowna Mayor Tom Dyas was formally involved with the group before his election, and Les Bellamy acted as a prominent media spokesman. The Kelowna Legacy Group included several former chamber of commerce presidents. Dyas included squelching 350 Doyle Ave in his election promises. Appelt sued, and that is another lawsuit in the high court being paid for by citizens. Les Bellamy and his connections are a key reason in how the dispute landed there.

Les Bellamy is intimately connected to dirty Tom Dyas and that is where his interests lie, it is NOT serving all the residents of Kelowna. Voting for Les Bellamy is voting for his uber good buddy Tom Dyas. Should Dyas be re-elected, Les Bellamy would be delighted to be a new Dyas bumboy. Bellamy is not an answer to Kelowna's problems, he is a source of them.
