Robertson spoke of flooding in 2017; "Kelowna Springs and Shadow Ridge were flooded on Saturday when Mill Creek flowed over its banks. "This is the fifth flood in the 23 years I've been here, so we have it down to a science at this point and it's nowhere near as bad as it always looks," said Ian Robertson, General Manager at Kelowna Springs.

Tom Dyas - Real estate sous chef - Unemployment 9%

High unemployment continues in Kelowna, with the rate for August pegged at 9%, the highest in any metro area in Canada for the 4th month in a row. Rental vacancy rates ticked higher to 7%, again the highest of any city in Canada. There is no case for 200 more wood frame shitboxes on the taxpayer dime.

Sous chef Tom Dyas was sad to find BC Housing was scrapping plans for a 20-storey affordable housing project on Bertram Street in downtown Kelowna. He says he will apply his genius and will figure out something new and improved for the site. The government agency involved said the combination of escalating construction costs and sharply lower rents due to the city’s high rental vacancy rate meant the project wasn't viable. The 176-unit development, which would have included 22 accessible units, a daycare and outdoor playground, would have offered rents about 30% below market rates.

Tom Dyas said 6 months ago Kelowna is in 'uncharted territory' as the rental vacancy rate reached 6.9%, the highest in Canada. The REASON this project for low income was shelved was directly because Dyas and his Khalistani have saturated the housing market in Kelowna with shit cheap 1 bd wood frame rental condos for TFW. Supply of shoeboxes is 'good' for the next decade+ in Kelowna.

285 Dougall Road is a new rental build by Khalistani backed Troika Developments. Completed 11 months ago, it is still partially empty. Incentives now include free parking and 2 months free rent. At least 25 brand new condos of 83 are available after 11 months.

This begs the question why a housing partnership between the City of Kelowna and Troika Developments to build MORE terrible cheap quality, unrentable tiny wood frame shitbox condos is proceeding. Troika applied for development permits for two city owned sites in Rutland and Glenmore.

The city provides the land while Troika builds and manages the buildings. Projects are 129 wood frame units at Dougall Road North in Rutland, and 71 units on Glenmore Road. The majority are studio and one bedroom. The 'below-market' rental prices will be as follows: Studio - $1,250 One bedroom - $1,660 Two Bedroom - $2,040 Three bedroom - $2,370 'Eligible renters' will need a combined household income between $80k and $120k to pay no more than 30% of their income.

Once development permits are approved, Troika will seek building permits and begin construction. According to CMHC, 1,300 new rental units were added to the rental pool in Kelowna in 2025. Troika's cheap shitboxes aren't needed at their high rents.

Troika's financial backer are the Khalistani behind Canco Petroleum, former gas jockey Parmjeet Singh Sehgal and the Nijjars, brothers to slain KTF terrorist Hardeep Nijjar.

Obvious is the involvement of Fairfield by Marriot, Gurjit Singh Jhajj's hotel backer. We suspect funding from the Sinaloa Cartel has dried up. Canco Petroleum has stopped its rapid growth and Jhajj's hotel build in Kelowna appears shelved.

Latest has the Sandhers desperately looking for an exit. All signs are pointing to a contraction of the flow of Sinaloa Cartel capital into the Okanagan, and, if anything, a potential call for it's redemption. That would be extremely serious for those owing the money.

'Disorder and thefts' taking toll, 'great distress' squeals Kevin Duggan - $100,435

Disorder and thefts are taking an emotional and economic toll on Kelowna business owners said Kevin Duggan, Kelowna's community safety services manager. He offered that during a community impact statement before the sentencing of a man named Victor Goyer.

Goyer, who didn't have a long record, was behind a string of 4 petty thefts and a break and enter. The break and enter came about from removing a piece of plywood over a window. “We've heard from business owners, managers and staff that the frequency of this crime type in their neighbourhood, break and enters, is causing great distress,” Duggan said. Why would Kelowna taxpayers be paying Kevin Duggan $100,435 per year to attend minor criminal matters to cry like a little old woman? Every word the overpaid knob spewed was ignored 100% by the court as there was a plea deal made. This City employee must be getting good at crying like a biatch if this is his full-time profession. Tom Dyas milks Kelowna drug addicts for votes - update

In 2025 alone, Outreach Urban Health supported more than 37,000 visits and responded to 75 overdoses without a fatality. Outreach Urban Health, and other services like it, are located in areas “where there is a demonstrated need for care. People experiencing substance use, homelessness and other complex health and social challenges are already present in these areas.” We call out Tom Dyas for what he is, a corrupt sous chef who would say anything to remain in a position which he is abusing for his own enrichment. He cares not at all about Kelowna citizens.

Ministry data shows more than 6.7 million visits to overdose prevention sites province-wide since January 2017, with 33,649 overdoses responded to and survived. Tom Dyas would see those people (that is what they are) dead. Tom Dyas' long, crying diatribe offers no solutions, other than the closure of the entire facility with no alternatives. Dyas spewed again of his fully nebulous 'regional mandatory care' facility (inside a prison).

7 weeks before the election, no mandate Tom Dyas is calling for the closure of the supervised consumption site downtown. Mayor Tom Dyas posted a letter to social media that was sent to federal Health Minister Marjorie Michel, requesting that Health Canada deny the 2027 renewal of the centre’s federal authorization of the centre on Pandosy Street. The letter, dated August 26, was sent on behalf of city council. Dyas pretending to read his letter for CBC.

The new facility opened with all approvals in March 2021 at great public expense. It offers a myriad of services for street drug users under one roof. That includes access to doctors, nurses, social workers and substance-use counsellors. “We are bringing services under this one roof that are currently distributed in various sites through the city,” Safe consumption services before then were offered out of a retrofitted RV. “It’s been a success,” said Dr. Silvina Mema, IHA’s medical health officer. The number of reversed overdoses cannot be counted. Hundreds are alive today who otherwise wouldn't be. Sous chef Tom Dyas' missing answer should be to build another 'Rail Trail' metal fence around the building and everybody in it.

Falkland superlab bust – Randhawa pleads guilty to some charges

Gaganpreet Singh Randhawa pleaded guilty to attempting to smuggle 310 kilos of meth to the Philippines. He admitted that he made several trips to a Richmond shipping company called Manila Cargo Express with boxes full of meth destined for Southeast Asia in September and October 2024. He agreed that he possessed a prohibited semi-automatic Glock and ammunition while he was under a lifetime firearms prohibition. There was no mention in the agreed statement of facts of the record-setting superlab in Falkland. The RCMP’s federal and serious organized crime section targeted Randhawa in April 2024.

RCMP Federal investigators raided a series of locations across Metro Vancouver, and executed search warrants on the massive drug superlab in Falkland. It was the largest illicit lab ever busted on Canadian soil. Haul was 390kg of meth, 54kg of fentanyl, 35kg of cocaine and 15kg of MDMA.

The Falkland drug lab was connected to the September 2024 seizure of 30 tonnes of precursors from the Enderby property of the executed Donnie Lyons.

The move up to Kelowna Council seems a natural progression for Tiede.

She has served three terms as school trustee, including two years as Board Chair, and three terms (9 years) as a Trustee with the Glenmore-Ellison Improvement District.

Central Okanagan school trustees gave themselves a raise in 2026. Eyebrows were raised on the optics of handing themselves raises while the Central Okanagan Public Schools is facing a $4.2 million deficit in the 2026-27 budget. Lee-Ann Tiede was the lone trustee to oppose the resolution. She refused the pay hike. The bump was from $25,564 to $26,102 for trustees. Kelowna councillor pays $58,080 for part-time duties. Lee-Ann Tiede has taken an interest in the plight of the folks on Gordon Drive and good on her for that.

Dyas extends 'interim' free dumping to Sandher Crime Family - update

Sandher employee Mohini Singh reported to council that plans are in place to complete the permanent wastewater solution for the Sandher Fruit Packers plant by the end of October 2026.

This update was shared during a brief council discussion before the rubber stamping of the temporary agri-industrial waste disposal permit for the plant on Old Vernon Road for a 3rd consecutive year. The Sandher plant was built without permits or approvals on ALR land in 2019. After 7 years operation there is no mandated waste water disposal. Waste has been dumped into the ditch out front for almost 8 years.

Team Dyas' Mohini Singh and Maxine DeHart have declared.

"I am pleased to advise the city will assist the fruit growing industry by entering into an arrangement with Sandher Fruit Packing for wash water disposal on a limited term basis while they work through their provincial approval for a longer-term solution,” said Dyas in a Press release in 2024.

Sandher servant Tom Dyas was overjoyed to extend the free Sandher dumping permit for a 3rd year. Sandhers are working hard to comply with dumping laws said Mohini Singh. She said plans are going uber well to have it completed by the end of October, probably.

“We are doing the right thing by providing the temporary servicing. We do have an expectation they are going to finish that off this year,” staff said.

Soil samples from the Sandher ditch in front of the Sandher plant have been sent to a Vancouver lab. Water samples are next as the Sandher ditches are overflowing again.

"Sandher Fruit Packers, located within the RDCO boundaries on Old Vernon Road, are requesting an extension of the permit until May 31, 2027. The original permit was issued by the city’s wastewater operations manager on Sept. 1, 2024 following “multiple wastewater system failures at the Sandher Fruit Packers facility associated with its groundwater infiltration disposal process.” That 'interim' free dumping permit off the backs of Kelowna taxpayers in 2024 was, according to mayor Tom Dyas, going to assist the poor farmers affected by the B.C. Tree Fruits failure. Their main competitor was the Sandhers, who had another chemical spill weeks ago.

That private meeting with Gurtaj Singh Sandher was on board the new $1m+ Sandher Regal 42 yacht moored at the Kelowna Yacht Club in August 2024 and included deputy mayor Mohini Singh. Cops had Sandhers under 24/7 surveilance, including Gurtaj Singh Sandher. Donny Lyons was killed by Gurtaj and Prabtaj Sandher weeks earlier.

The Sandher Crime Family have NEVER had proper waste water disposal at their bootleg plant and even after $114k in fines don't to this day.

Never would the Punjabi Khalistani Sandhers pay good drug money to dump their industrial waste water when mayor Tom Dyas allows them to dump for free in perpetuity. This example points out again exactly how Sandher bought Tom Dyas is. When not loaded with plant waste water, ditches outside the Sandher plant are black.

S Sundher Orchards Ltd., the operational arm of the Sandher Crime Family, was last advertising for 15 TFWs with LMIA. As deputy mayor Mohini Singh makes spokesperson excuses why the Sandher plant is pollution non-compliant after 8+ years operation, the Sandhers are trying to hire TFWs. Kelowna unemployment at 9.3% is the highest in Canada for the third month in a row. The youth unemployment rate (18 to 24) in Kelowna is around 15%.
