The Tom Dyas campaign have sent out spam e-mails.

The City spent $126.1m on payroll in 2025 versus $116.59m, an 8% increase.

"We added 33 RCMP officers, 17 Bylaw Enforcement Officers and 18 firefighters, expanded frontline safety programs, and increased enforcement in the areas that need it most." Bylaw officers start at $75k. Raw rookie RCMP $71k.

Kelowna policing costs rose 66% between 2020 and 2024 — double the rate of any city in B.C. A similar increase is projected from 2026 to 2031. Kelowna’s policing budget reached $63m in 2026, making the rise 81% from $34.8m in 2020. Based on a city population of 167,000, the direct policing cost is $377 per resident per year. Vancouver's policing cost, the highest in Canada, is about $675 per resident. Dyas is responsible. Year after year he throwns away more taxpayer resources for by-law and police.

In 2025, 500 CUPE workers earned $75k or more, an increase of 94 from the previous year. Kelowna managers making $100k or more rose from 109 in 2024 to 191 last year. Here.
