Tom Dyas and Maxine DeHart stroke Ted Callahan pee pee - update III

Ted Callahan says he's prepared to mediate with the City of Kelowna rather than fight in the courts. This after a judge has temporarily halted the City of Kelowna’s plans to expropriate. The injunction prevents the city from advancing expropriation while a legal challenge brought by Callahan moves through the courts. In July 2026, Dyas and Kelowna council authorized the pay out to his good buddy Callahan. That cost stands to be much, much higher.

Tom Dyas buddy Ted Callahan's lawyer argues he tried and failed to negotiate for months until city council, without warning the fukkers, voted to expropriate his rotting boardwalk in July. “The city refuses to engage further with (Hotel Eldorado) and, instead, opts to bully (the hotel) into doing what the city thinks should happen,” the August 12th petition reads. Hotel Eldorado said the city’s expropriation was a 'draconian' decision to take land from a private owner, and would leave democracy 'eroded'. (gasp)

What did Dyas and his old pimple DeHart accomplish by stroking Ted Callahan's pee pee in public in the midst of a dispute with the City? They inserted their dense selves into a conflict of interest. Their attendance at Callahan's event is fodder for a judge. The damn fools made the City of Kelowna's legal position worse. The petition wasn't drafted in a vacuum. That paperwork was in progress when Dyas and DeHart smiled for the cameras with Callahan.

The decision of Ron Cannan to avoid Ted Callahan's social event is proven 100% correct, and in less than 2 weeks. Dyas and DeHart are clueless. The new battle stems from litigation from 2021. The City of Kelowna successfully sued Hotel Eldorado after Callahan locked the gates to the public boardwalk.

In 2023, the BC Supreme Court sided with the city, ruling that a perpetual statutory right-of-way existed, which legally compelled the hotel to keep the pathway open.

Confirmed on appeal, Callahan ignored the order. The City has failed to pursue a contempt of court declaration against mayor Dyas's good buddy Callahan. New mayor Ron Cannan has an item near the top of the list. That's to put Ted Callahan in jail for his very open, very public contempt of a high court order won by the citizens of Kelowna at great expense. _______________________

Locals say Dyas and Callahan know each other and are good friends. Dyas is a regular at Maestro’s in the Manteo, where he’s been seen dining with Callahan. It's major money for Dyas's friend in his last weeks in office. Dyas is so very crooked he doesn't care how it looks. Dyas and Councillor DeHart voted for the city to forcefully buy the boardwalk in front of Hotel Eldorado for big money to end a long standing dispute. Days later they are partying with Ted Callahan, the former owner of the rotting boardwalk.

Tickets to the fancy affair were $400. Mayoral challenger Ron Cannan was asked if he went.

“Cindy and I were invited to attend the Eldorado’s 100th Anniversary Gala. However, given the ongoing litigation regarding the expropriation process, I did not believe it would be prudent for us to attend the event. As a result, we respectfully declined the invitation. I can therefore confirm that we were not in attendance.”

Nobody can possibly say how much the rotting boardwalk will cost Kelowna taxpayers. We say it's potentially multi-millions more thrown away by diamond Tom Dyas.

Cannan challenges Dyas - Kelowna needs change

Cannan says residents wanted change when they elected Dyas in 2022, and he believes they are still waiting for it. “I feel Mr. Dyas is actually working for the administration rather than for the people,” Cannan told Castanet. “So my question is, are they building the city that you want or the city that they want?” “Well, in 2022 actually, I campaigned with Mr. Dyas and we were going to make some changes, and what happened is, after we got elected, some things have gone differently,” Cannan said. “I’d say the fact that people had voted for Mr. Dyas because they wanted change in leadership from the previous mayor, Colin Basran.”

Kelowna Springs rezoning was always a pet project of Colin Basran and his Khalistani masters. Multi-millions in dirty money from the Sinaloa Cartel is behind the scheme. After his defeat to Dyas, Mohini Singh received large amounts of Khalistani cash. Dyas was compromised from day 1.
