Kerry-Lynne Findlay resigns

Kerry-Lynne Findlay has resigned as leader of the Conservative Party of B.C. After becoming the party's leader less than four months ago, 7 MLAs jumped her ship. The chaos in the party included the recent revelation that a private investigator had been hired to look into Findlay’s critics. Conservative Party of BC executive director Elaine Allan hired the PI to look into 14 people, including reporter Rob Shaw, former party executive director Angelo Isidorou, former party president Aisha Estey, one current Tory MLA and six MLAs who left the party since Kerry-Lynne Findlay became leader on May 31. The Conservatives won 44 seats to the B.C. NDP’s 47 in the last B.C. election, but ousters and defections have now left the party with 24.

Kelowna Mission MLA Gavin 'fuzzy' Dew backed Peter Milobar. Milobar lost on the first ballot with 10.5% of the vote. He threw his lot in with Kerry-Lynne, and that goes pear-shaped too. Gavin 'Fuzzy' Dew has no friends. The John Rustad bumboy was appointed in the riding in response to the wishes of Bir Singh Sandher.

Fuzzy Dew star falls further, and so does his buddy Pavneet 'Indo Packer' Singh, who was vice president of the B.C. Conservative Party under Findlay. Macklin McCall support for her could sink him as well.

Gavin 'fuzzy' Dew figured he was leadership material last time around.

Winner of the BCCP booby prize is the 71 odd year old Kerry-Lynne Findlay. This observer says Captain Findlay will lead her sad sacks straight to the bottom. The new captain of the corrupt, sinking, fractured ship CPBC achieved 51% support on a 5th ballot.
