Bal Grewal declares for councillor

Local lawyer and realtor Bal Grewal has announced he will run for Kelowna City Council in the 2026 municipal election. Grewal previously ran for council in 2022, finishing with 6,861 votes, or 14th in a race for eight seats. He also ran for the B.C. United Party and lost. This may be his year as several current councillors are being fingered as bums. More candidates for council are expected. The mayor's chair is Ron Cannan's to lose. If Tracy Gray doesn't split the anti-Dyas vote Cannan should be in the clear.

Rick Webber running for re-election

1 term councillor Rick Webber knows a good grift when he participates in one. He announced 2 weeks ago. Webber has voted in lockstep with Tom Dyas on every issue. The man contributes nothing, is rarely interviewed, and virtual nobody cares that he's running again. He is well known as a Dyas bumboy. Its proven. Like Mohini Singh, he is a former reporter, and that he figures makes him highly qualified to do whatever it is he pretends to do. “Council decisions should be based on what’s best for Kelowna residents ..." Indeed Mr.Webber. You should listen to yourself some day.

 

Luke Stack won't run for council

The good news continues as Tom Dyas has lost another member of his posse.

Kelowna city councilor Luke Stack won't seek his sixth term in office. Stack was the longest-serving city councillor, and it showed. For 18 years he served under multiple disgraced Kelowna mayors. He won’t seek a sixth term this fall and that further opens the field for new and uncorrupted do-gooders.

Charlie Hodge will also not seek re-election. Gord Lovegrove will seek to retain his seat.

Jordan Adam - Young Anderson Barristers & Solicitors

The City of Kelowna has retained associate (not partner) Jordan Adam (adam@younganderson.ca) of Young Anderson Barristers & Solicitors in response to the Kelowna Springs petition.

"Young Anderson Barristers & Solicitors is a respected law firm known for its representation of clients in local government matters, particularly in relation to land use and planning law."

Our problem? Our information suggests Young Anderson was involved in producing the revolting and heavily redacted Denciti Property swap agreement. Associate Jordan Adam would NOT have authored that document.

Dyas has retained the same K9s who drafted his thieving agreement to squelch discontent about it. (at taxpayer expense) Here. A retainer was probably something in excess of $50k. Jordan Adam is not experienced enough to even be a partner. That office time of his is billed out to Kelowna taxpayers at tradesmen rates of a minimum $500 per hour. His court time will be $1500 to $1800 per hour.

Loyal Wooldridge gonzo - Kelowna citizens throw keggar

Tom Dyas's most loyal doggie, the one with K9 nose up Dyas asshole for years backing everything Dyas, won't be running for Kelowna councillor. Here. That opens up a seat on council for an ambitious do-gooder as well as creating a vacancy on the RDCO board as chair. This turn of events is automatically good for Kelowna citizens, how good remains to be seen. We say this is a prime opportunity for the Grays to extend their influence to Kelowna City council.

If Tracy Gray isn't interested in mayor, fine. The Grays back Ron Cannan whilst the baby Gray runs for councillor with the expectation of getting the RDCO chair from Cannan if they both win.

Corrupt Tom Dyas was on thin ice before losing his bestus bumboy. He's in serious trouble now. Dyas will not retain his criminal backing if they decide he's finished and a bad bet. Reddit, always a reliable source ahuck, says Ron Cannan has in fact declared his intention to run for Kelowna mayor.

Garbage hero mayor Dyas pledges to clean up Rutland

Dyas said he was aware of Rutlanders expressing concern about the proliferation of litter, drug paraphernalia, and other debris/shit in their neighborhood. So he proposed dipping into council’s discretionary funds to save the day. Dyas is a director of the 200 member strong Uptown Rutland Business Association.

In 2020, 18 months after it was launched to great fanfare by the city, the Uptown Rutland Business Association's on-call team was scuttled. “We paused it for a refresh. We’re just retooling the program to make it most effective,” said URBA interim executive director Cathy Paterson. Funding of $130k was authorized by Kelowna city council in February 2024. The Uptown Rutland Business Association was expected to kick in $50k and was looking for the balance, $125k, through grants and community sponsorship.

Those efforts failed and the Khalistani make work grift ended. Garbage appeared again in the Rutland slum, probably because citizens living and doing business there are far too lazy to pick it up. This is the Punjabi way. The Khalistani connect to the operations of Uptown Rutland Business Association and Mayor Tom Dyas are rock solid.
